Marnie is the founder and chief executive officer for MTA and is charged with taking care of the company, its teams and its customers. As the face and steward of MTA, she oversees all MTA operations, including revenue-producing activities, and sets the direction of the company. Marnie has more than 20 years of experience delivering unforgettable client experiences for companies in the pharma, biotech, medical device, food and public storage industries. Marnie's main focuses are growth and expansion, supporting MTA's global teams, and delivering outcomes beyond an exceptional event experience. Marnie's core strengths lie in strategic thinking, executing and relationship building. An achiever, arranger and developer, she thrives in collecting input and gaining clarity through intellection. Daniel oversees MTA's Technology Services group, leading corporate IT functions, security and risk operations. With more than 20 years in the technology space, his expertise is rooted in systems integration and information security — shaped by tenure at several Fortune 500 companies, two startups, and his years at MTA.

He holds an undergraduate degree in political science, a master’s degree in technology management and the CISSP certification, a combination that reflects both the breadth of his thinking and his commitment to bridging strategy with execution. Daniel's core strengths are relationship building, strategic vision, and getting things done. A natural achiever, connector, and lifelong learner, he gravitates toward work that demands ideation and big-picture thinking, while his patience, loyalty, and dependability ensure he delivers meaningful results for MTA's clients.

As Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Jill Mason leads financial management and oversight for Miller Tanner Associates' (MTA) financial operations including strategic visioning and process improvement for the company. Along with serving as a key member of MTA's Strategic Leadership Team as CFO, she manages a Finance Department and is responsible for company financing, cash management, financial compliance, measurable growth, data analytics, and profitability improvement.

Jill was promoted to MTA's Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in October 2023 after serving as controller for the previous 4 years. Jill brings a wealth of expertise to her role as CFO. She began her career as an auditor serving healthcare customers. She then continued building upon her experience in financial accounting in the healthcare industry for 14 years, serving in various roles including senior accountant, director of financial reporting, and controller before joining Miller Tanner Associates. As a certified public accountant in Tennessee, Jill is also an active member of the Tennessee Society of CPAs and the CFO Leadership Council.

One of Jill's favorite aspects of the company is the people of MTA. "I love the people of MTA. We creatively serve our customers and do so with the utmost level of professionalism and character. Jill obtained her Bachelor of Arts in accounting from Transylvania University in Kentucky before receiving her Master of Accountancy from the University of Texas.

Meredith Shottes serves as Chief Operations Officer of Miller Tanner Associates (MTA), where she leads Global Operations and technology-enabled experiences for customers across the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and broader corporate landscape. She oversees three core operational pillars - Global Experiences (events and production), Product Innovation (software development), and Product Management - ensuring seamless integration between service delivery, technology, and long-term customer value.

Over more than two decades with MTA, Meredith has helped guide the company’s evolution from a boutique experience partner into a globally scaled organization supporting leading life sciences and corporate brands. She is responsible for operational excellence, customer experience strategy, and cross-functional execution worldwide, ensuring MTA consistently delivers meaningful, high-quality outcomes across every event type and engagement model.

Meredith’s career in the meetings and events industry spans more than 25 years. She began as a freelance planner in New York City supporting high-profile financial and corporate clients, producing experiences ranging from intimate executive gatherings to large-scale CSR initiatives and multi-thousand-attendee events. Her early client portfolio included organizations such as Bloomberg, the International Olympic Committee, and Mars, Inc. She later joined a major New York conference center overseeing the delivery of more than 150 meetings each week, building the operational foundation that continues to shape her disciplined, execution-focused leadership style today.

Known for her thoughtful, technology-driven approach and deep commitment to people, Meredith builds high-performing teams that pair precision execution with meaningful human connection. Her work centers on translating ambitious vision into reliable, repeatable systems that strengthen customer partnership, enable scalable growth, and position MTA for its next chapter of innovation and expansion.

Meredith earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Ithaca College. Originally from the Boston area, she now lives in Brooklyn, New York.

Scott leads MTA's Commercial Team (marketing, business development, customer success, and contracts). He is responsible for defining, implementing, and executing market growth strategy, overseeing client relationships, and driving customer value through impactful global experiences. Scott built his career over two and a half decades in the pharmaceutical and healthcare fields, most recently in executive roles with The Health Management Academy and ICON Clinical Research.

Scott's core strengths lie in strategic thinking and executing. An arranger, achiever, and a learner, he thrives in building strategy, seeing the big picture and leading others to new heights. Scott is a decisive and efficient self-starter who takes charge, takes risks, and delivers business outcomes for MTA customers. His favorite thing about MTA is the passion of the team and the pride every team member takes in creating truly memorable experiences for customers by exceeding their expectations at every turn.

Scott holds a B.A. in biology, an M.B.A. from Lake Forest College and a certificate in International Business Management from University College — Dublin, recently being recognized by Titan 100 in 2025 as Chicago's Top 100 CEOs & C-Level Executives and notable speaker at the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) Summit and Salesforce Dreamforce in 2024. He resides just outside Chicago.
