Meet MTA: Jessica Gratt, Global Service Director

Today we introduce you to Jessica Gratt, Global Service Director at Miller Tanner Associates (MTA). Jessica has vast experience with managing processes. In her current role, she juggles details, data, and travel management with ease.

Meet Jessica Gratt

Tell us about your current role with MTA?

I am a global service director at MTA.  I oversee the travel aspect of our programs as well as manage the global event specialists that work on air arrangements for our attendees. I also work closely with our travel vendors around the world on our processes, forecasts for upcoming programs, and quality control of our travel event notifications.  The entire Global Service Director (GSD) Team partners closely together to keep the overall global events team running smoothly.

How long have you been with MTA? I have been with MTA for 4 years!

What did you do before joining MTA?

Prior to joining MTA, I worked for a large real estate company in the Learning Department where we developed and provided training to real estate agents and brokers.  My primary role was managing operations for the department which included LMS, scheduling, contracts, reporting, and metrics.

What’s the best part of your job?

Definitely the best part of my job is working with the great people at MTA and, of course, my travel team! I also enjoy working with our outside travel vendors to ensure our attendees’ travel needs are met.

What’s been your most memorable event to date and why?

There have been so many. I would probably have to say my first meeting when I started working at MTA.  It gave me to opportunity to really learn hands-on and when I reflect on that experience, I cannot believe how much I have learned since then! But I think that every meeting is memorable in its own way with unique aspects that keep us on our toes!

What do you do for fun?

I love to walk and do it every day! I also enjoy spending time with my 11-year-old son and must admit I am known to binge watch TV at times.

What do you enjoy most about where you live? Any favorite spots that you would recommend to tourists?

I currently reside in Randolph, NJ where I grew up. New Jersey is a great state with beautiful mountains, amazing beaches, and farmland.  It is also a quick drive to NYC!   My favorite spot in New Jersey is, hands down, the “Jersey Shore”. There is no better place!

What’s your favorite aspect about MTA?

The people with whom I work are my favorite aspect of MTA.  I also love the global component and working with people from all around the world.  It has been a great experience!
